Between 2002 and 2003, the Honourable Peter deCarteret Cory led an inquiry in the United Kingdom that examined allegations of state collusion in paramilitary murder. The Cory Collusion Inquiry arose out of the Weston Park Peace Negotiations. For years, allegations of state collusion in murder cases had obstructed the pursuit of a lasting peace in Northern Ireland.
